The Board Connection offers a unique and proprietary Board Readiness Assessment and Development Program.  The Program is designed to assist members to identify where they are on their journey to board service and to develop a personal plan to secure a board seat. The Assessment was founded in academic professional development research and offers more than 20 self-guided tools, a seminar and cohort program.  TBC also offers seminars on building a board ready résumé and connects members with professionals who can assist with personal branding for Board service.

Focus on Public Policy

TBC is a member of a national organization, InterOrganization Network (ION), which is active in advancing women to the boardroom on a national basis.  TBC connects with other shared-mission organizations such as Women Corporate Directors and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

In conjunction with ION, TBC and member organizations conduct and publish annual benchmarking research to track the progress of women directors and executive officers in public companies.  TBC joins ION in promoting the need for diverse boards by submitting comment letters to the SEC on various public policy matters.
