OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

Carla Howard- President
Serves as Senior Vice President and General Tax Counsel for the electric utility, Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU Corp.). She is one of the founding Board members of TBC, sits on the Board of the Federal Tax Institute, handled the General Counsel Board role for the US Figure Skating Championships in Dallas while carrying leadership legal and financial roles principally in the energy sector.
Mary Henderson - Vice President
Mary currently serves Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Trinity Industries, Inc., a publicly traded diversified industrial company that owns a variety of market-leading businesses providing products and services to the energy, transportation, chemical, and construction sectors. In 2011, Mary was recognized as the Outstanding Chief Accounting Officer, Controller, or Treasurer in conjunction with the 2011 D CEO Magazine’s Financial Executive Awards. She is a passionate supporter of equal access to education and development opportunities.  As a CPA for 30 years with 20 years of experience working for public companies, Mary has expertise in leadership, corporate governance, accounting and financial reporting, as well as project and talent management.
Kelly Harris- Treasurer
Kelly is a Partner of Harris & Dickey, LLC, a certified women-owned professional services firm. In addition to founding Harris & Dickey, Kelly was a founder and market leader in a Deloitte spin-off that is currently traded on the NASDAQ. She began her professional services career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and prior to that she spent 14 years in corporate America as Vice President State & Local Tax for CLUBCORP and in accounting and tax with Donrey Media Group. She has been an interim Executive Director of a non-profit, an Angel Investor with the InvestinForum and is a member of the Texas Women Ventures Fund. Kelly has been a CPA for over 28 years with expertise in leadership, corporate governance, accounting, tax, business development and talent management.
Kellie Richter- Secretary 
Kellie Richter is Chief Marketing Officer for Behringer and a member of the executive team responsible for directing the marketing strategies and team of marketing professionals in order to raise capital for alternative investment programs with varied regulatory structures through partnerships, institutions and financial professional intermediaries.

With 25 years in marketing-related roles, she has most recently served as senior vice president of marketing strategy for AIG Annuity Insurance Co. and AIG Retirement.
Lisanne Glew
As Vice President – Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services, Lisanne leads an executive compensation advisory and risk management practice. She has held executive roles with financial institutions in Canada and the US.  Lisanne holds a law degree, an MBA and is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor.  She is a passionate supporter of women's leadership initiatives and is involved in professional and non-profit organizations including the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas.   Lisanne is TBC's Board Vice President, Chairs the Member Relations Committee and is active on the Board Readiness Assessment Committee.
Kelly McDonald
A founding board member, Kelly is the Senior Vice President and Controller for Rave Cinemas, the fifth largest movie exhibitor in the U.S.  As Treasurer of TBC, she offers extensive finance and accounting leadership experience gained in Chief Financial Officer and Controller roles with several Dallas-based companies. She is a past Director of Fianance at Austin Road & Bridge, and is active in community organizations and non-profit boards. 

Susan Garcia
Currently Managing Director, CIO Advisory Services at KPMG LLP, Susan previously held a range of landmark positions over 25 years at American Airlines in marketing, finance and IT, culminating with her position as Vice President of Information Technology. Susan is on the Advisory Board at Turtle Creek Recovery Center, and is a mentor at MENTTIUM 100. Fluent in Spanish, she has worked as an interpreter for the Federal Emergency Response Management Agency and on medical mission trips. Susan holds an MBA in Finance and Management from SMU. She is a Dallas Business Journal 2009 "Top 25 Women to Watch" and Profiles in Diversity 2009 "Women Worth Watching" recipient.

Kit Addleman
A partner at the law firm Haynes and Boone, LLP, Kit specializes in defending SEC actions and structuring corporate compliance programs.  Previously, Kit spent 21 years with the SEC including serving as Regional Director in Atlanta and as head of the SEC's enforcement programs in Fort Worth and Atlanta.  She serves on the boards of non-profit and industry organizations including Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, Consumer Credit Counseling Service, and National Society of Compliance Professionals.

Kathy Harless
Katherine Harless has served as an Independent Board Director for the Toro Company (global manufacturing) since 2000. She serves on the Audit, Compensation and Human Resource, and Nominating and Governance Committees. She served as President and CEO of Idearc Media Inc. from 2006-2008. Katherine led the successful spinoff of Idearc Media from Verizon Communications and navigated the company from print centric to a multi-platform media company. In 1998, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame at The University of Texas at Austin, the business school’s highest honor for outstanding achievement. She also serves on the Board of NACD and The University of Texas McCombs Business School and previously served on numerous not for profit boards.

Cathy Fraser
Within her responsibilities as SVP of Human Resources at Tenet Healthcare, Cathy oversees the planning and oversight of the company’s board activities. In addition, she is the Management Liaison to Tenet’s Board Compensation Committee. Cathy is currently the Chairman of Workforce Solutions of Greater Dallas the Dallas workforce board and seventh largest not-for-profit in the Dallas area.
Linda Rutherford
Linda joined The Board Connection leadership in 2014. As Principal and CEO of Rutherford Ventures and former SVP and General Counsel of Dresser, Inc., Linda has a wide range of experience managing global manufacturing companies, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business strategy, early stage investments and preparing companies for liquidity events. She served on the Board of Directors of Bryan’s House. Linda has a passion for literacy, teaches adult ESL classes at VMLC. and established the ESL program at St Vincent De Paul. Linda has lectured on corporate governance at The University of Texas at Dallas and is a member of CXO Collective. She was nominated for Addison Magazine's Top Female Executive Award in 2011.

Dorinda Abendschein
Currently Senior Vice President and CFO of North America at Schneider Electric., Dorinda has many years of experience in finance and operations, having previously served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Brinks, Inc., CFO of Global Financial & Banking Markets at British Telecom, and Head of Transformation for BT, managing all transformation programs across finance and operations for British Telecom Americas. She also spent several years in senior finance positions at Dell.
